The new “Game of Thrones” trailer might hint at a BIG change for Cersei

Oh, Cersei. At the end of Game of Thrones Season 6, she took matters into her own hands, and [deep breath] literally blew up a building, via wildfire, holding many of her enemies (most notably: Tommen’s wife, Queen Margaery). It was a total power move, and directly led to Tommen’s own death. With everyone else gone, this meant that Cersei could finally take her place, unopposed, on the Iron Throne.

When Season 7 picks up, it’s clear that Cersei is still going to be in power, and it isn’t going to her head whatsoever! (JK, it totally is) The trailer for Game of Thrones Season 7 dropped earlier today, and while it features Cersei, Dany, and Jon Snow, it’s Cersei we really need to talk about.

She’s dabbled in fire before, but now it looks like she’s going to have to deal with ice.

The trailer ends with Cersei on the Iron Throne, where she lets out a long breath — and we see her breath, implying that it’s COLD.

Cut to, the eye of the Night King.

Wait a sec. Did…did Game of Thrones just strong hint that Cersei’s going up against the Night King? But then WAIT A SEC, did HBO just imply that Cersei is going to become a white walker?

Honestly, it makes sense. We know that Cersei is power-hungry, and will literally do whatever is necessary to claim that power, and stay in power.

Wouldn’t put it past her whatsoever to get pierced with dragonglass in order to become a walker herself. Because no one is going to mess with Cersei of the House Lannister, the First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals, the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, Part-time White Walker.
