Celine Dion’s Paris Fashion Week outfit just might be peak Celine Dion

During couture fashion week in Paris, it’s hard to turn a corner without bumping into a fashion icon. But even among the world’s most stylish, Celine Dion stood out on the streets of Paris this week, decked out in an outfit so iconic and so absolutely Celine, we can’t stop looking at it. (Really: still looking.)

Wearing a puff-sleeve blouse accessorized with a massively oversized bow, by Dice Kayek, and a pair of Celine trousers with an asymmetrical hem, Dion looked singularly chic exiting the Royal Monceau hotel. She finished off her outfit with a pair of oversized, round sunglasses and a purse from her Celine Dion handbag collection (but of course, chérie), looking as glam as we’ve come to expect from the Canadian chanteuse.

In this outfit, Dion provided a master class in dressing for Paris Couture Week.

Dion’s newfound status as a style star comes thanks in part to her stylist — or “image architect,” as he’s known — Law Roach. The pair began working together about a year ago, after Dion saw Zendaya — who also works with Roach — walking the red carpet and admired her look.

When Dion made her interest in working with Roach known, the stylist was stunned.

"My first words were: Céline who? Roach said in an interview with Vanity Fair. “I don’t think I had dreamt that big of a dream. That this legend, this woman who we’ve all grown up to her music, that’s been around for 30 years, was calling me to work with me.

Now, Dion is being lauded left and right for her bold sartorial choices, and is even Instagramming on behalf of Vogue at Paris Couture Week, using the hashtag #CelineTakesCouture.

At 49, Dion is proof that a fashion renaissance is always possible, so go dig through your closet and pull out those gems you thought you were “too old” to ever wear again. You’re not — we guarantee it.
