It was only a week ago but so much news has happened since #KimExposedTaylorParty took over Twitter the fateful night of July 17th. To recap, Kim Kardashian West almost actually broke the internet that evening when she uploaded the infamous phone conversation between Kanye and Taylor Swift regarding the rapper’s single, “Famous,” on snapchat.

That evening it seemed as if everyone was on Kimye’s side of the feud with Taylor Swift. Some of Twitter’s best tweets spawned thanks to Kim’s delicious cup of tea.

But a new study commissioned by Buzzfeed News,  tells a different story. Out of the 2,500 people who participated in the study, around 75 percent knew of the Taylor/Kimye drama. 34 percent of those people sided with Taylor, and a shockingly low 8 percent sided with Kimye. The remaining 58 percent reported no opinion. Surprising results since so many think pieces came out the following day asking if this was the end of America’s love affair with Swift.

Of course, this study isn’t exactly scientific and should be taken with a grain of salt. So all is not lost for team #Kimye.

Well, the people have spoken!
