Since he’s had a pretty incredible career, Matt LeBlanc is already thinking of retirement. It probably seems weird, since we kind of assume LeBlanc is still in his late 20’s like Joey Tribbiani from Friends — but the actor turned 50 this past July. And typically, 50 seems like the perfect age to map out how you want the rest of your life to go.
LeBlanc discussed his plans on Conan, and while we don’t even want to think of a time where he’s not attached to a sitcom or reality show, his ideas of how he’ll transition into retirement sound pretty fantastic.
In the video, LeBlanc notes that no matter what, he’d rather retire early than continue to seek out new roles.
We kind of dig LeBlanc’s approach to the whole thing.
We’ve been there before. Part of the appeal, for LeBlanc, is not feeling forced to do anything. With retirement, you’re free to set your own schedule.
He even mentioned the possibility of racing bulldozers, which is something we’d definitely love to see in the future.
Still, bulldozers aside, host Conan O’Brien had a few good ideas for him. And honestly, we hope he considers them.
We’re glad LeBlanc seemed to be on board, since these two obviously make a great team.
