The photo of the U.S. Women's Track and Field team slaying at the games belongs on a girl group album cover
We already know that Olympic athletes are fierce af superwomen — that was never up for debate. But you probably haven’t see a team give Destiny’s Child a run for their money when a sportscaster introduced them on television.
The 2015 photo from the 15th IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing is re-circulating as three of the four incredible athletes serving serious Charlie’s Angels realness are currently part of the U.S.A. Women’s Track and Field team. The runners are, from left to right, Francena McCorory, Allyson Felix, Natasha Hastings, and Sanya Richards-Ross.
McCorory, Felix, and Hastings are competing in the 4×400 meter relay events and several other track and field competitions in Rio 2016.
Lots of social media users are posting the #TBT on Instagram as proof that the U.S.A. Women’s Track and Field team is too fabulous to win anything besides the gold medal.
Richards-Ross, Felix, and McCorory all won medals in the 2012 Olympics.
Video of the track superstars posing for their girl group’s Greatest Hits album cover has also gone viral in a meme.
