Pippa Middleton married hedge fund manager James Matthews this weekend, and it was the perfect way to satisfy our royal wedding cravings as we got to re-live our favorite memories from Kate and Will’s royal wedding (meaning: fun hats!). It looks like the bride had the Westminster Abbey ceremony on her mind as well, because Pippa was wearing the same earrings that she wore to sister Kate’s wedding. Aww!
She also wore a similar dress to sister Kate’s Alexander McQueen wedding gown, though Pippa’s featured short sleeves instead of long, and a high neck instead of a plunging one. Pippa looked as stunning as ever, though, at the basically-royal wedding, which included not one but two receptions.
Here’s Pippa wearing the earrings as a bridesmaid:
They’re by Robinson Pelham, and Kate wore earrings by the same designer at her wedding.
And here you can see them gracing her ears as a bride!
She looks ah-mazing, and it’s a sweet way to honor her relationship with her sister on her special day! Besides, earrings this beautiful shouldn’t be worn only once.
Kate took care of bridesmaid duties (even though she wasn’t an official bridesmaid).
Kate was what’s called a “matron of honor” at Pippa’s wedding, as according to The Mirror only unmarried women can be “maids” of honor. You know, semantics.
And Princess Charlotte was cheesin’ hard for the big event.
Have you ever seen anything cuter? Us either.
It’s so sweet seeing the gorgeous sisters support each other on their special days!
Nothing is more beautiful than sisterly love.
