The split between Chris Pratt and Anna Faris took us all by surprise during the summer of 2017, since we thought they were THE couples goals. But nothing gold can stay, you know? From the sound of it, their separation was amicable, and they’re doing whatever they can to stay friendly and civil for the sake of their son, Jack. This happens, and breakups happen, even in Hollywood.
In recent months, it’s come out that Faris has started seeing someone new (and we wish her all the love and happiness and joy in the world!). Over the weekend it sure looked like Pratt had found a new lady, too. ET reported that Pratt and Olivia Munn — who recently split with Aaron Rodgers — were spotted out together getting cozy and showing all sorts of PDA. It was just a rumor, but it was a good rumor, and everyone was quick to dive headfirst into this potential new coupling.
Well, Munn has something to say about it, and it begins with everyone calming down. For the record, she would like to state that she’s NOT dating Pratt. Taking it a step further, and hoping to squash any lingering rumors, Munn even texted Faris to explain she wasn’t dating Pratt — and also to discuss the fact that tabloids had already pitted Munn and Faris against one another, all over their relationships with Star Lord.
Munn shared a series of images on her Instagram Story, clarifying about the rumored relationship that has spread like wildfire over the past 24 hours. Talk about taking matters into your own hands in this digital and gossip-crazed world. Also, there’s no way Munn would date Pratt, because as she jokes, “[we] would have a horrible celebrity name: Crolivia, Prunn, Chrisivia, Olipratt.”
Munn also wanted to shed light on the fact that she and Faris know one another, and she doesn’t want anyone to think there’s “bad blood” between the two. She shared a text exchange the two had, that ends with Faris asking to “catch up soon.”
So there you have it. Olivia Munn is not dating Chris Pratt, she’s soon going to grab lunch and catch up with Anna Faris, and she saves receipts. Don’t mess with her, tabloids.
