Women run the world, we know that. And thanks to social media, celebrities and everyday people alike can post their opinions to share with followers and hopefully have their voices heard. There’s a special place in our hearts for the former, especially when it’s Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui speaking out against things she deems unjust. The 20-year-old’s latest Instagram post is a lesson in using your voice wisely, and we have immense respect for the young Cuban-American woman.

Lauren’s message is stern but important: we need to change things to survive and to allow our planet to do the same. This post comes after Trump rescinded EPA regulations, and is a call to action as much as it is a wake up call.

Lauren goes on to talk about the fact that we are all affected by what’s happening to this planet, and that educating ourselves about what’s going on is vital — especially considering that it may not be getting better any time soon.

We love that, with four million followers on Instagram, Lauren speaks up for what she believes in. Instead of feeling like she needs to please, she’s engaging with her followers and urging them to open their eyes at what’s happening. Our favorite part of the message may be its positive ending. Lauren says:

So much love for that.
