Paris Fashion Week is currently underway, and yesterday, March 5th, the fashion crowd gathered to see the Chanel Fall 2019 show, which was the final show designed by Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away at the age of 85 last month. The show kicked off with a moment of silence in honor of the late designer, and included A-listers like Janelle Monae, Penelope Cruz (who also made her runway debut), and Kristen Stewart in attendance.
Stewart, who stars in the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot, wore a quilted Chanel jumpsuit to the show, which she paired with Mary Jane pumps, red nail polish, red-rimmed sunglasses, and layers upon layers of necklaces.
The actress’s tousled hair came courtesy of Canadian stylist Matthew Collins, who described the ‘do as “sleek temples and textured flip on top.” On the makeup side, Stewart rocked her signature smoky eye makeup—this time in a pretty plum shade—and bold brows.
Stewart’s seatmate was none other than Monae. If these two ever starred in an all-female remake of Bonnie and Clyde, we’d be all for it.
For K-Stew, who is ever the fashion chameleon, this look was quite a departure from her last red carpet outfit, a Mean Girls-esque look that we’re still not over, tbh. Either way, we’re into the fashion inspo the actress has been giving us lately.
