This Kim Kardashian-Sharon Osbourne feud is one that nobody saw coming, especially considering The Osbournes basically paved the path for The Kardashians (the reality TV shows, not the families). Here’s the sitch: After Sharon Osbourne called Kardashian a “ho,” Kardashian fired back at her “stupid” comments — and yes, she called them “stupid.”

It all started when Osbourne made slut-shaming comments to The Telegraph on September 2nd about Kardashian posing nude in pictures. Then she brought it up again, to Entertainment Tonight on September 7th. At first, Kim’s response was simply to post a nude tree-climbing picture to Instagram (though it’s unclear if that was actually a direct response or just a perfectly timed photo.)

But now the 36 year old has responded directly to Osbourne’s claim that, “If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that’s not feminism, that’s being a ho.”

Right.

Osbourne did go on to try to back-peddle out of it and explain to ET, “I don’t think because she takes her clothes off and is confident with that, that makes you a feminist. That makes you confident, but it doesn’t naturally go with being a feminist.” Osbourne continued, “I don’t think that there’s anything wrong in what she does.”

Considering that Osbourne once posted her own nude in honor of Kardashian, her statements are all pretty confusing.

And yes, she captioned it “#liberated.”

Kardashian had some things to say about how Osbourne is wrong (in basically every way).

At a Harper’s BAZAAR event at the Plaza hotel on Friday, Kardashian set the record straight, saying,

Ouch!

Kardashian went on to explain, “I post nude photos because I like how I look and I feel proud when I’ve lost all this baby weight and I post it because I feel like posting it and I feel powerful.”

Kardashian added,

So basically, Kardashian is agreeing with Osbourne that she doesn’t think that posting nude photos of herself makes her a feminist, but she doesn’t believe that they make her a ho, either.

It’s so awesome that Kardashian feels sexy and confident after having her babies, but the truth of the matter is that the pressure on celebrities to “lose their baby weight” has gone too far, and it kind of sucks that Kim felt like she had to add that.

Still, Kardashian has proven that she really does post her sultry photos for herself, and she’s not looking for anyone’s approval. Whether she’s a free-the-nipple advocate or not, that seems pretty badass to us.
