Kim Kardashian is channeling Jackie Onassis on the cover of "Interview" magazine, and Twitter is not having it
There’s no denying that Kim Kardashian West has had her fair share of outrageous magazine covers (ahem, that time she broke the internet). This time, however, fans aren’t so angry about what Kim *isn’t* wearing as much as they are about what Kim Kardashian is sporting on the cover of Interview magazine.
The mother-of-two shed her latex dresses and Yeezy threads for a prim and proper mod skirt suit and pristine white gloves as she portrayed America’s former first lady, Jackie Onassis. Dubbed “America’s New First Lady” by Interview, Kim looks like the picture of ’60s panache on the cover.
And of course, front and center next to her mama is the always darling (and perfectly styled) North West.
Also dressed in First Daughter-worthy attire, North makes her magazine cover debut looking more cherubic than ever in a pretty cap sleeved black dress with a delicate lace collar.
Like we said, though, it’s not that Kim and North don’t look just divine. It’s that Interview is equating the reality star to the former first lady that’s evoking a negative reaction across Twitter.
Of course, not ~everyone~ shared the same opinions of the Forst Lady-themed Interview spread.
Regardless of people’s opinions are regarding the subject matter behind the magazine spread, shot by Steven Klein, there’s no denying that both Kim and North look radiant. And hey, these outfits really *do* look like they’d come straight out of Jackie O’s famously high-fashion closet!
