Internet body shaming has to stop. Kelly Rowland posted a picture of her bottom with lyrics with a Kendrick Lamar song that celebrates stretch marks. And since the internet is filled with trolls and other mean people, a body shamer decided to make a rude comment about Kelly’s body in the picture.

The idea that women need to look “perfect” all of the time is gross and unrealistic. We are beautiful they way that we are. Even with the stretch marks, freckles, and any other thing that is deemed “imperfect.”

Kelly shut down that shamer fast with more Kendrick Lamar lyrics.

This isn’t the first time she’s shut down body shamers.

After having her child Kelly has talked a lot about she feels about her body. She told TheLittleThings.com, “We should all embrace our bodies,” she said. “I feel like you shouldn’t exercise to be skinny. You should exercise to feel good about yourself.”

And when it comes to body shamers, she’s been clear.

Preach!

It’s awesome that Kelly Rowland and other women have the courage to post pictures of their bodies on the internet. And it’s especially brave when body shamers run free, and can say whatever they want. But we’re glad that Kelly shut down this troll. And we totally admire how confident and inspiring she remained while doing so.
