When trolls come for you on the internet, it’s so tempting to stoop to their lowly levels of petty with a fiery clapback. However, when you’re booked solid all the way through the next year, keeping it cute works to your benefit. No one knows that better than Katy Perry, who recently responded to a troll in total #boss fashion.

Earlier this week, the Rise singer hopped on Twitter to answer fan questions when a poser invaded the session (a true, ride-or-die KatyCat would never) to inform Perry that her career is over.

While the anonymous shit-stirrer’s tweet was super original (*smirks*), Perry’s response deserves the praise hands emoji for more than one reason.

And that, folks, is how it’s done. Perry could’ve mentioned a ton of other projects she has in the works to prove this ridiculous comment wrong, but we’ll gladly do it for her since she obviously hasn’t the time for such trivial matters.

Let’s see, where do we start? Well, first off, she recently blessed fans with a new single for the 2016 Olympics, plus she helped deliver her sister’s baby for cryin’ out loud. Oh, there’s the aforementioned 2017 show she casually introduced (if this means a new album and touring, we cannot wait), plus Perry has a fab forthcoming shoe line that eagerly awaits all of our money.

Long story short, Perry has a lot going on, so we’re honestly not surprised that dismissing haters is light work for her. It’s just one of the many reasons we can’t stop fangirling over her.
