Katy Perry never shies away from addressing difficult topics… especially political ones. This holiday is no exception. In a recent tweet to fans, Katy Perry encouraged understanding through peaceful conversations this Thanksgiving. Of course, this isn’t the first time Katy Perry has addressed the tense emotions surrounding the election. Yet, her messages are always full of hope. She does not mock the other side of the political aisle. Instead, she calls out for peace and understanding (with a small side of revolution… and feminism).

Katy Perry’s latest tweet continues that theme of mutual respect.

Hopefully, by going through this list of questions you and your loved ones can have a mature conversation about an election that has brought out the worst in many of us. Otherwise, outright avoidance sounds like a good option. No matter which route you take this holiday dinner, we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, brimming with smiles and laughter.
