Kate Gosselin chatted with Dr. Oz about how hurtful tabloid stories can be, and we totally understand
When you’ve been in the public eye for awhile, surely you’ll find yourself on a tabloid or two. Today on The Dr. Oz Show, Kate Gosselin appeared to talk about hurtful tabloid stories, and how rumors have truly affected her family.
Known best for Jon & Kate Plus 8 (later retitled Kate Plus 8, because — well, you know why) the reality mom is still broadcasting her family’s life on TLC, detailing her adventures as a single Mom with a bunch of teens and pre-teens.
Even so, the peek into her life isn’t enough for some tabloids. Gosselin believes a bunch of the stories about her are false, and thinks that things would be a lot easier if tabloids didn’t exist.
Here’s part of her segment:
As expected, Gosselin was also asked a few questions about Jon, who still finds himself scrutinized in the spotlight on occasion.
While it sounds like things are still difficult between the two of them, Gosselin made sure to admit that she makes mistakes from time to time as well. But no doubt about it, the only thing that matters to her are her kids.
We truly understand how seeing stories about yourself in the tabloids must be incredibly difficult, especially when readers might only be hearing part of the actual truth.
While the Gosselin children have grown up around cameras, there are surely still moments that they hope remain private and sacred — and watching their parents get bashed for a cover story probably makes life a lot more challenging for them.
We definitely wish the Gosselin family the best, and hope they work things out for good in the future!
