Jessica Simpson explained why she's definitely not having any more kids
Jessica Simpson has two of the cutest kids on the planet, but according to her, two is plenty. Simpson revealed she won’t be having any more kids, and was totally candid about why, in true Jessica Simpson fashion.
The fashion mogul stopped by to chat with Ellen DeGeneres, setting the record straight right off the bat. Upon sitting down to start the interview, she immediately quipped: “I’m not pregnant on your show.”
Ellen asked, “Are you sure that you’re not pregnant? I heard that you were.” And Simpson candidly revealed, “We’ve got an IUD, nothing is going to get into that uterus,” laughing.
Without missing a beat, Ellen replied, “I’m not touching that.” All jokes aside, Simpson explained why her family is complete, telling the host: “I have two beautiful children and I’m not having a third. They’re too cute! You really can’t top that.”
The last two times Simpson appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she was pregnant with both her children, her five-year-old daughter Maxwell, and three-year-old son Ace, with her husband Eric Johnson.
Simpson was open about plenty of topics, from her marriage and her husband’s habit for snoring through TV shows, to the new music she’s been working on, and her billion-dollar business empire.
She says she’s written nearly 40 songs, thanks to the recording studio in her home (which was formerly owned by Ozzy Osbourne!) and is still expanding her fashion business. “We’re always expanding. There’s nothing out of reach for us.”
It certainly sounds like Jessica has big plans for her career this year, and we can’t wait to see what she’s working on. And as long as she continues to share photos of her adorable family, we’ll be happy.
