Jay-Z has a lot to celebrate these days. Not only is he the proud father of two new babies, but he also released a bunch of new music. And since art is often inspired by real life, Jay-Z wrote songs about Beyoncé and their struggles together as a couple in the spotlight.

The album, which is his 13th studio release, is called 4:44, and the song in question is also titled “4:44.” In it, he seems to admit that the infidelity rumors that surrounded the couple after Beyoncé released Lemonade might very well be true.

The song also includes a lyric of “what good is a ménage à trois when you have a soulmate?” which makes us a little curious.

His music also touches on the miscarriage that him and his wife had prior to the birth of Blue Ivy, and also hints that the couple may have suffered through more than one. It’s not the first time that Beyoncé’s first pregnancy has been memorialized through song.

Jay-Z first mentioned the miscarriage in a 2012 song called “Glory.” And, we have to say — having both artists be so vocal about such a devastating event is wonderful, since suffering a type of loss like this is more common than people might realize.

While the couple has definitely been through a lot, we think it’s brave for Jay-Z to make his music so personal.
