Even J.K. Rowling has a few secrets she’s not willing to divulge. For example, Rowling has an unpublished manuscript that she just clued fans into. It’s what she refers to as a “political fairy tale.” When can we read it? Well — probably never.

In an exclusive interview with CNN given by Christiane Amanpour and Eliza Mackintosh, Rowling admitted that the story was part of a costume that she wore on Halloween. The author decided to celebrate her 50th birthday that day (because, even though she has a July birthday, why not?).

Well, that’s clever.

The full interview is set to air on Amanpour tonight, but luckily, we have some more intel about what she discussed.

She chats about her children’s charity, Lumos, and what inspired her to launch it. And she also discussed her two greatest fears in detail — powerlessness and small spaces.

In fact, she credited her fear of small spaces for placing Harry in a cupboard in the first Harry Potter novel, noting that “being trapped and being powerless, just powerless to get out of that space” brought fear to the situation.

But let’s get back to that costume. We have a pretty good feeling that her fun party get-up will now be the most coveted item for any Harry Potter fan. Hopefully, with time, Rowling gives us a few more clues about that fairy tale.
