Gwyneth Paltrow famously dated (and was even engaged to) Brad Pitt in the ’90s. She was married to Chris Martin for thirteen years and now is reportedly dating producer Brad Falchuk.

However, Paltrow says she sucks at romantic relationships.

During an interview with Girlboss Radio, Paltrow says that she defines success in any field as relationships that work.

“Success to me is relationships that function really well. Where there is a beautiful feedback loop between people. I think without relationships of quality, you are not a successful person. So, if you don’t have a good relationship with your partner, your children, your best friends, then it’s really hard to claim success,” she told Sophia Amoruso during the interview.

But that’s when things started to get personal, and she delved into which relationships in her life were the actually successful ones.

We appreciate her candor, and totally get it, because romantic relationships are hard. Marriage, dating, living together. It’s interesting how she says she’s “fucked up so many relationships” when we look at thirteen years of marriage and think that’s a pretty good run. Hopefully, that “good romantic relationship” she speaks of is her current one.
