Ginnifer Goodwin shared a touching tribute to former "Big Love" costar Bill Paxton
While this past weekend was full of lively Oscar buzz and celebrations of movie magic, it also involved the heartbreaking passing of a super beloved actor: Bill Paxton.
Once Upon a Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin reacted to her former Big Love costar’s death from surgical complications, telling Entertainment Tonight that he was, “a good friend who had a huge heart.” She went on to describe his generous spirit in words that made us melt. “Bill was, I can say, more alive than the others, so his not being a part of the world is hard to comprehend.”
She admitted that it felt wrong to attend the Oscars without him, though her husband Josh Dallas had encouraged her to go — because Paxton was passionate about “Hollywood history and everything to do with Hollywood tradition.”
Whenever we’re looking to hang out with Bill, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing as well, because he’s had a special place in our hearts since Titanic.

At Sunday night’s Oscar ceremony, Jennifer Aniston mentioned Paxton in the In Memoriam section that she presented — it was too late to officially include him in the video segment, but he was honored alongside others who we tragically lost.
We’re sending all our love to Paxton’s family, friends, and loved ones.
