Halloween is 42 days away (yes, we’re counting) and that means spooky decorations are already on display at basically every store everywhere. Since Halloween is obviously the best holiday ever (proven fact), seeing all kinds of various scary decorations is always fun.

Except not clowns. Scary clowns aren’t fun and should be banned from society.

And we’re not alone in our fear of scary clowns. Gina Rodriguez very much agrees.

While shopping at a drugstore, Rodriguez came across a miniature man-child clown figure standing in the middle of an aisle. So she did what any quick-thinking human being would do — she casually karate kicked it to its death.

Of course, the clown she murdered isn’t a real human, but one less clown on the streets/drugstore aisle means one less frightened citizen.

Creepy clowns have been been in the news lately, and not for a good reason. Different frightening clowns have been spotted wandering the streets of Greenville, South Carolina terrifying innocent bystanders. Some are even attempting to lure unsuspecting children into the woods, and they’re popping up all over the country.

So yeah, a fear of clowns is completely rational and warranted, and we won’t apologize for it. Stay safe out there, everyone, and always be prepared to karate chop a fake clown if you need to.
