Emma Stone was having the time of her life backstage at the Oscars
Oh man, what a night! Emma Stone had the time of her life at the Oscars, both backstage and at numerous parties. Who can blame her, she was the woman of the hour, after all.
On Sunday night, Hollywood was flooded with celebrities of all kinds for the 89th Annual Academy Awards. Throughout the night, stars took home the coveted Oscar statue, but the biggest win of the night — besides Best Picture — went to Stone.
The Arizona native won Best Actress for her role in La La Land, so obviously she celebrated all night long. Even before she won the award, she was having a blast backstage with her La La Land co-star, Ryan Gosling.
Need proof? Stone was backstage with Gosling in preparation for their John Legend performance announcement and was totally at ease.
These two smiling will make you smile all day long.
While Stone was clearly a little nervous when she did have to give her acceptance speech, every other time the camera captured Stone, she was SO happy.
As she stepped off stage, trophy in hand, the redheaded actress was truly speechless.
Once backstage, she took in all of the excitement by chatting with Best Actor winner, Casey Affleck, before having a full-on freakout.
Luckily, one of her BFFs, Brie Larson was already backstage and gave her a huge hug the moment she saw her.
“You know what’s better than winning? Watching your friends win. @theacademy,” Larson later captioned her own photo of the moment.
Of course, Stone had to stop for a celebratory photo with the Oscars legend herself, Meryl Streep, before leaving the show.
When it came to the after-parties, the Easy A star got even more excited and giddy.
The first thing she did at the Governors Ball celebration, was give lots of hugs.
She also posed with her good luck charm — aka her brother Spencer — who has attended almost every award show with her this season.
Before the fairy tale night came to an end, Stone made an appearance at the Vanity Fair party.
Even though she didn’t take a lot of photos at the shindig, her makeup artist Rachel Goodwin shared a photo from the night’s end.
Congratulations Emma, we just love you!
