Demi Lovato has been in the news a lot lately. She keeps releasing new songs, and we cannot get enough of them. Now, however, Demi Lovato shared why she doesn’t talk about her sexuality in interviews, reports Teen VogueLovato is known as an LGBTQ advocate, but she says she doesn’t want to give interviews about her own sexuality.

It all started in a recent interview with Pridesource. First, Pridesource asked Lovato about “Cool for the Summer.” Specifically, they asked about Lovato’s reaction to an article on AfterEllen. The website said the song insinuates that same-sex intimacy should be kept a secret.

As for why Lovato doesn’t specifically address her sexuality, she shared that with PrideSource, too.

She said that the way the media covers her is a factor, too.

Yup, Lovato mentioned her documentary, which we ~cannot wait~ to see. It’s called Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated and premieres October 12th on YouTube. In case you’re wondering, it’ll go through her life in and out of the music studio. She added that she addresses her sexuality in the documentary.

Before her documentary comes out, her album Tell Me You Love Me does, on September 29th. So mark your calendars. We definitely have!
