Reese Witherspoon opened up about her family life and what keeps her grounded
As we continue to get excited about Reese Witherspoon’s new movie Home Again, opening in theaters soon, we like to follow what’s going on in her life behind-the-scenes, too. Witherspoon recently told Entertainment Tonight about her family life and what keeps her grounded.
First, some quick family history.
It’s no secret that the actresshas a very close relationship with her kids. For instance, Witherspoon’s daughter Ava just turned 18 (!), and Ava calls her mom “one of my best friends.” Awwww. Witherspoon recently mentioned how Tennessee, her 4-year-old son with husband Jim Toth, often has trouble telling Reese and Ava apart.
TBH, we don’t blame him. The two look so much alike!
While Ava is her mom’s doppelgänger, 14-year-old Deacon is her ex’s, Ryan Phillippe’s. On Deacon’s last birthday, Witherspoon said, “You are such a ray of sunshine in all of our lives.”
So what’s the latest on Witherspoon and her family?
Witherspoon also encourages her kids to be themselves.
Best. Mom. Ever! So what keeps Witherspoon grounded? Her own mother.
We couldn’t agree more! Meanwhile, we’re looking forward to September 8th, when Home Again will hit theaters. As usual with Witherspoon’s movies, it looks like another hit.
