As if parenthood isn’t hard enough, Audrina Patridge from “The Hills” revealed she was judged for a few things, namely, having a baby before officially getting married. Since it’s 2017, we can’t believe that people still pass judgment on this — especially since Patridge has formed quite a happy family for herself.

Her daughter, Kirra Max, was born on June 24th of last year — so, she’s about six months old. She married Kirra’s father, Corey Bohan, on November 5th. The two started dating in 2008, so they were pretty rock solid before the announcement of Patridge’s pregnancy.

Even though Patridge handled the news beautifully, and didn’t let it distract her from her other plans with Bohan, people still managed to point out the fact that she was technically a mom before a wife.

But, that wasn’t all. According to Patridge, she was also judged for getting a c-section — which is a surgical way to remove a baby through the abdomen and uterus.

While some women choose to have them, others need to based on a game-day decision. No matter what, there’s no “right” way to have a baby — everyone’s situation is a little different.

We can’t believe she was shamed due to a very routine surgical procedure that her doctor had approved of. If anything, this is a great reminder to never try to pass judgment — especially before hearing the whole story.

Of course, the life lessons that she’s learned through pregnancy, marriage, and even The Hills, will someday be passed onto young Kirra.

Kirra is so lucky to have such a wise mother. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
