You’d assume that the Terminator probably doesn’t have anything to worry about, but you’d be wrong. In a new interview, Arnold Schwarzenegger mentioned that he struggles with self esteem issues just like many of us do. Despite being known for his gym body, acting skills, and politics, he also has moments where he seems a little unsure of himself.

While we never like to hear about people suffering, we’re so glad he opened up about it. It just proves that you never know who might be silently struggling.

Schwarzenegger, who will be featured as the host in the upcoming series The New Celebrity Apprentice, did an interview with Cigar Aficionado and admitted that he’s had trouble with his own image for years.

It’s so upsetting to think that even during moments where he should have been proud, he lacked the ability to see his self worth.

Schwarzenegger admitted that by exercising, and keeping up a routine, he keeps his confidence in check. So not only does it help him physically, but it helps him mentally, as well.

For a guy like Schwarzenegger to admit this is huge it’s definitely news to us, since he always seems so confident on screen. But, we’re so glad he said something. At the age of 69, it’s intriguing to hear that he still has doubts and concerns about himself and his many accomplishments.

We hope Arnold knows that we love him just as he is, no matter what — and think that he’ll do such an amazing job hosting the revival of The Apprentice!

His show premieres on January 2nd, and his full interview for Cigar Aficionado can be found in the February issue, which will be out on January 10th.
