Emojis might be the way of the future, so knowing how to use them effectively is key! As for Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis, they seem to know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to the pictorial language. In fact, Hathaway and Sudeikis are, like, crazy good at decoding emoji riddles. The two actors sat down with Anna Klassen from Bustle to play a quick emoji translation game and they pretty much blew through the riddles like they were nothing.

Hathaway and Sudeikis star in Colossal, an unconventional monster movie about inner demons getting out. To keep with the theme, Klassen wrote out classic monster films in emojis for the stars to figure out.

So, yeah. Hathaway and Sudeikis know their emojis.

The film revolves around the emergence of a Godzilla-like creature in Seoul, South Korea. It’s obviously destroying the city and no one knows what to do about it. Hathaway’s character, Gloria, figures out that her actions in comparison to the monster’s are uncanny.

Soon enough, Gloria figures out that she is controlling the monster. Yikes!

Colossal has already been “Certified Fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes, so we can’t wait to see it. Today is the film’s official release date, so check your local theater for show times.

Perhaps Hathaway and Sudeikis could release their own emoji dictionary or an emoji training video for those of us who aren’t as skilled in the language. If emojis are here to stay, then we need to get on Hathaway and Sudeikis’ level, ASAP!
