Amy Schumer's behind-the-scenes "GQ" cover is dripping in sass
Amy Schumer is perfection on the cover of British GQ, but she SLAYS in the behind-the-scenes pic she shared on Instagram. The sex appeal drips off of her, as she wears an unbuttoned white dress shirt with nothing but white boy shorts underneath. An untied bowtie hangs coyly over her shoulder and she stands tall in some tiny white heels. She looks like an angelic seductress from on high. The caption nails it: Rise up bts @britishg All the bodyshamers, bow down.
The Emmy-nominated comedian appears on the cover of the October issue. Named GQ’s Woman of the Year, the magazine knows her value: “GQ laughs long and loud with the funniest woman, sorry, the funniest human being in the world, Amy Schumer.” Dang straight.
Her schedule this week is appropriate for a freaking entertainment icon: Her comedy series Inside Amy Schumer was nominated for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series (which ultimately lost out to Key & Peele), and she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Julia-Louis Dreyfus took it home). She walked the red carpet with her sister Kim, brother Jason and boyfriend Ben Hansich.
The 35-year-old picked up her “Woman of the Year” prize at the 2016 GQ Men of the Year Awards in London and accepted her award with a joke so raunchy and hilarious, we’re still giggling about it. We won’t reprint it here, but it was about someone who appears in this pic:
And you can watch her acceptance speech here (please do):
Schumer is on fire and we are basking in the heat.
