Trans activist and actress Alexis Arquette, who died earlier this week, touched so many people throughout the course of her life, many of whom have paid heartfelt tribute to her since her passing.
The latest to speak out is Ryan Black, a writer and producer who dated Arquette in the late ’90s.
Black, who uses the male pronoun when speaking about Arquette, spoke to People about his friend’s passing, offering insight into Arquette’s private life.
Arquette’s family, which includes siblings David, Patricia, Rosanna and former sister-in-law Courteney Cox, has shared messages of love and grief since the actress’ death.
And Cox posted this heartfelt message:
Alexis, you will be truly missed.
