Adele hosted a surprise "Despicable Me 3" screening for the children affected by the Grenfell Tower fire
We already know that Adele has a big voice. Like, HELLO. That woman can sing. But, she also has a big heart. This is especially true when it comes to her hometown of London, England.
Unfortunately, 2017 hasn’t been an easy year for Londoners. Between the heinous London Parliament terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge and the devastating Grenfell Tower fire, our hearts go out to one of the most beloved cities in the world. Adele’s does, too. She gave a moving tribute to the London terror attack victims and visited those affected by the London apartment tower fire shortly after it happened. But her kindness doesn’t stop there, either.
Most recently, Adele hosted a private Despicable Me 3 screening for the children affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
According to E! News, the singer held the private event at Whiteley’s cinema this past Thursday.
The Clement James Centre, which has been aiding the survivors of the fire, sent out the invites for this special occasion. Although, no one knew a special guest would be there!
Adele wasn’t the only celeb in attendance. This Minion was too!
Other family members have taken to social media to show their appreciation for the singer’s good deed as well.
Way to go, Adele! You brought a lot of light and love to those who needed it.
