In honor of UFO Day, these celebrity alien sightings will inspire you to believe
Sunday is UFO day, which means we’re celebrating with anything and everything alien. Or more specifically, rounding up some of the hottest celebrity stories about UFO sightings. It’s not just us peasants who are blessed with visits from the cosmos. Some of the world’s most famous musicians and celebrities have seen flying saucers! Who are we to discriminate?
No matter where you stand when it comes to the search for extraterrestrial life, enjoy our roundup of nine celebrities who seem to believe the truth is out there.
1That one time Khloé and Kendall thought they saw UFOs.
Okay, so this may not have been an official UFO sighting, but both Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian thought they saw UFOs. Specifically, the two were tweeting about their experience seeing what they thought were extraterrestrials in the Southern California sky. Unfortunately, what they were probably seeing were pre-planned unarmed missile tests put on by the U.S. Navy. But they still believe, so we’ll include this in our list.

2Everything Tom Delong.
The Blink-182 co-founder believes in aliens, and thinks you should believe in aliens, too. He says he’s studied over 200 books, talked to officials who know top-secret information, and has even camped outside Area 51. When he was camping, he had an experience that he called “projecting.” He tells Paper Magazine,
"I woke up right around three a.m. My whole body felt like it had static electricity, and I open my eyes and the fire is still going, and there's a conversation going on outside the tent. It sounded like there were about 20 people there, talking. And instantly my mind goes, OK, they're at our campsite, they're not here to hurt us, they're talking about shit, but I can't make out what they're saying. But they're working on something. Then I close my eyes and wake up, and the fire is out and I have about three hours of lost time."

3When Zayn Malik said aliens told him to leave One Direction.
In an interview with Glamour, Zayn revealed what inspired him to leave One Direction and go off on his own. And the answer, of course, is none other than an alien who came to Zayn in a dream. Although we don’t have many more dream details, we have a feeling it must have been a legit alien because Zayn listened. We wish we knew more, but until then, we’ll be trying to contact this alien in our dreams to give us some solid advice.

4Fran Drescher says she was abducted by aliens.
In an interview with Huffpost, Fran Drescher says she was abducted by aliens…and that the scar on her hand is proof. She says both she and her ex-husband had the same experience of seeing UFOs as young teenagers while driving on the road with their dads. She says,
"We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot."
Although her ex, Peter Marc Jacobson, wasn’t so convinced, we’d like to believe Fran!
5Elvis saying aliens communicated with him, telepathically.
Elvis’s family remembers a strange light beaming over the family’s home the day he was born. And it keeps getting stranger from there. Elvis recalled being telepathically visited by aliens when he was 8 years old, being shown a man wearing a white suit and singing to a crowd. The King also said he saw many UFOs later on in life — especially unexplained lights moving through the desert at night.
6David Bowie, because duh.
David Bowie claimed to see UFOs many times, which should not surprise anyone who’s ever listened to his music. Apparently, the legendary artist helped publish a UFO newsletter as a teenager, and would go to weekly UFO-spotting meditations with a backup singer who sang on Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side Of The Moon.” Bowie was even overheard by Creem Magazine writer Bruno Stein saying,
"I made sightings six, seven times a night for about a year when I was in the observatory. We had regular cruises that came over."

7When John Lennon saw a saucer fly over the East River.
On August 23rd, 1974, John Lennon was hanging out on his balcony with his assistant, Mary Peng, when he saw a flying saucer over the East River. According to the Daily Star, and a video of John, the singer saw the object “turn right at the United Nations building, turn left and then down the river.” Apparently, the object was silent, dark in the middle, with white lights on top that looked like lightbulbs blinking. Maybe the aliens are also Beatles fans!
8Mick Jagger, when he saw a cigar-shaped UFO.
We’re throwing it back to 1968, when Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger claimed he saw a UFO while camping in Glastonbury with his then-girlfriend, Marianne Faithful. It was upon this fated day that the icon saw a cigar-shaped ship flying in the air. Apparently, he had a UFO detector installed at his British estate around the same time…and it kept going off whenever he left. We have a feeling the aliens just want to jam with their icons! We hope intergalactic space jams our in the future of music!
9When Russell Crowe posted a video of his sighting.
We’re not quite sure if this video is satirical or not, but CNN is reporting on it, so it could go either way. Actor Russel Crowe took a video of a UFO he spotted, in which a red line and bright spots appear to float through the sky. The time-lapsed video shows a UFO flying over the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney, Australia. Apparently, there are 500 UFO sightings each month, which means Russell is not alone in his quest for answers.

10When Muhammad Ali saw a UFO on his run.
Apparently, the famous boxer had seen UFOs multiple times in his life. One time, while on his daily run, he looked up to see a brilliant light that looked to be hanging from an invisible thread. And another time, while he was in the passenger seat of a car on the New Jersey turnpike, he saw a cigar-shaped ship hovering above a car. He even said he could see the UFOs shadows from the light of the Full Moon. If that’s not memorable, we don’t know what is.
