Celebs going makeup-free—is it “brave” or just…normal?
Celebrities without makeup is the clickbait that keeps on giving. You’ve seen the sidebars on gossip sites—and frankly, it’s hard not to click. The good news is that in recent years there’s been less judgment and way more praise for going makeup-free. People of all ages and skin types are baring it all to help normalize wrinkles, acne, scars, and dark circles.
Despite this, it’s true that the rich and famous have more access to good (and/or expensive) skin care. Not to mention, the best facialists, dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, and so on. Some credit Alicia Keys for the recent no-makeup movement, and it’s refreshing to see more celebs jumping on the bandwagon.
