13 Celeb Halloween Costumes From This Year You Have to See
These A-list stars brought their A-game with some amazing costumes. Here are the best looks of 2022.
Dressing up is undoubtedly the best part about Halloween. (OK, the candy isn’t too bad either.) It’s always exciting to see what the spooky holiday costume trends will be among celebrities.
Horror-inspired characters are a given, but celebs also use Oct. 31st to embrace their comedic side — and even they want to be someone else for a day. Did you see country singer Kacey Musgraves’s literary nod?
This year’s celebrity Halloween costume trend seems to be celebrities dressing up as other celebrities. We saw re-imaginations of Pam and Tommy and a few others we don’t want to spoil just quite yet.
It’s also been another great year for TV and movie character costumes. Our personal favorite may have to be Jojo Siwa or Lizzo. Here are some of this year’s must-see celebrity Halloween costumes!
1. Kendall Jenner as Jessie from Toy Story
The model put a sexy spin on Jessie from Toy Story, which seemed to irk a lot of people on the internet for her supposed sexualization of the kids’ movie character.
Sexy halloween costumes have long been a thing though, and she’s got a rocking bod, so why not show it off! Our only question is, who dressed up as Woody?

2. Frankie Jonas and his girlfriend as Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift
Ouch! Sibling mockery at its best! We need to know what was going on in the Jonas Brothers group chat this weekend. And poor T-Swift will forever be haunted for her array of exes.
3. JoJo Siwa as Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter
Siwa is unrecognizable as HP‘s venomous character Draco Malfoy! The performer showed off her acting skills on social media, citing some of the Slytherin student’s most famous lines.
4. Lizzo as Marge Simpson from The Simpsons
We can always count on Lizzo to show up and show out on Halloween.
The singer-songwriter’s glam and hair team went the extra mile with Lizzo’s hilarious costume this year.
5. Kerry Washington as Lionel Richie
“Hello, is it me you’re looking for?” The award for most creative celebrity costume 2022 goes to… Kerry Washington. Her unexpected portrayal of Lionel Richie is one for the books.
6. Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek as Ken and Barbie
Is that Gronk and Kostek or Ken and Barbie themselves? We actually can’t tell, the NFL tight end and supermodel nailed the look!
7. Halle Bailey as Neytiri from Avatar
One-half of the R & B duo Chloe x Halle is a spitting image of Avatar‘s Neytiri. The face and body makeup details are stunning. Kudos to her!
8. Kacey Musgraves as The Giving Tree
Musgrave is the gift that keeps on giving, ha! The country music star completed her clever book character costume with an apple purse.
9. Megan Thee Stallion as “Real Hot Girl”
Hot, hot, hot! The rapper took her own lyrics to heart this Halloween and dressed up as a flaming hot girl. We love a play on words.
10. Heidi Klum as a worm
Klum, who is known for her epic Heidiween costumes, documented her 17-hour get-ready journey on Instagram. After lots of body paint and special effects, the supermodel transformed into a human-sized worm.
11. Kelsea Ballerini as Fiona from A Cinderella Story
The “Subject to Change” singer-songwriter stepped into the shoes (or erhm, should we say tanning goggles?) of one our favorite rom-com villains from the early 2000s.
She even swiped on a few extra layers of lip gloss and puckered up to tell Sam “you’re not very pretty, and you’re not very bright.”
12. Neil Patrick Harris’ family as fast food mascots
Trick-or-MEAT! The Harris-Burtka fam dressed up as different iconic fast food icons including, Ronald McDonald, Wendy, Colonel Sanders, and The Burger King.
We wish their house was on our Halloween candy route.
13. Jennifer Hudson as Sister Mary Clarence from Sister Act
“I am a headliner!” Hudson paid tribute to one of her favorite movie characters while taping her special Halloween episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Snacking on candy corn and scrolling through celebrity Halloween costumes is our favorite Halloween pastime.
