People are dressing cats in adorable Christmas sweaters and the cats are not amused by this

Today, we can’t get enough of cats in Christmas sweaters. (Yesterday we were obsessed with the pugly Christmas sweater, but we’ve moved on.) Cats get cold, too. And they clean up well. They can make almost anything look dapper.

The trick is getting the sweater on the cat. (If we tried this on our own, it’s our arms that’d turn out red.)

Some of the #christmassweatercats look angry, others couldn’t care less, while still others seem kind of into it. But, since house cats exist only for our amusement, we’re very into it. The pics of cats in Christmas sweaters seriously just made our holidays brighter. Thanks, kitties.

The gift that keeps on giving.

Want to join the party? (You should, because everyone knows that cats make the party.)

Shop for your own feline-fitted Christmas sweater at Petsmart, or at – where else – Amazon, or handmade ones at Etsy.

Just try not to piss your cat off too much. Because, you know they’ll seek revenge. That’s what cats do best.
