Catherine Zeta-Jones brought daughter Carys to the red carpet, and #twinning is an understatement

Catherine Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys Zeta Douglas are yet another mother-daughter duo who could totally get mistaken for twins. The actress and her mini-me stepped out for a night of high fashion on Sunday, April 7th, to attend the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 Alta Moda show at the New York Metropolitan Opera House. The stunning pair looked like they could be sisters and created quite the stir on the red carpet. The two not only redefined the word #twinning, but they basically stole the show.

The mom-of-two, who is married to actor Michael Douglas, wore a Dolce & Gabbana black bustier-style dress, which also featured a see-through skirt and lace-detailed sleeves. She completed her flawless look with sparkly strappy sandals, sultry eye makeup, and her hair in loose waves.

Her lookalike daughter, Carys, wore an elegant off-the-shoulder floral top, high-waisted trousers, and carried a black and gold clutch. With Catherine as her mom, it was only a matter of time before 14-year-old Carys began showing an interest in fashion.

Catherine later shared a video via Instagram that shows the fashionable duo entering the event.

So will Carys follow in the footsteps of her A-list parents? Well, Catherine recently revealed that her daughter has a passion for acting, too.

"She’s very head strong in her career," she told E! News. "A doctor has always been in the cards but acting is her passion and I’ve schooled them that the business is broad these days and you’ve got to go out there knowing that there’s critiques."

With her mother’s looks (and most probably talent too), there’s no stopping Carys.
