This cat sits like a human and we don’t even know what to think anymore

Here at HelloGiggles, we love cats. We know cats. At least we thought we did, until we saw this completely insane video of Red the cat sitting like a human.

At first, he’s innocently perched atop the picnic table (totally cat-like behavior, for the record), then he scoots to the edge, crosses his furry cat legs, sits straight up (not so cat-like) and proceeds to completely blow our minds.

What is happening?! Is Red just showing off? Because he looks pretty chill. We’re kind of wondering if this is a universal thing. Do cats do this all the time when we’re not looking? I mean, we can’t help but notice Red’s furtive glances before he switches positions. It’s almost like he’s trying to make sure no one’s watching.
