The cast of “13 Reasons Why” just released a video about why they love US, and we’re going to need a minute

It’s only been two months since 13 Reasons Why was released on Netflix but it’s set to remain one of the biggest shows of the year. Whether you loved the show or found it problematic, there’s no denying that it sparked some seriously important discussions about suicide, depression, sexual assault, and bullying.

While initially thought to be one-off series, the popularity of the show prompted Netflix to pick 13 Reasons Why up for a second season, which will pick up a few months after the events of the first season.

The cast of the series has been overwhelmed by the support of fans so now, they’re saying thanks.

In an adorable, the cast of 13 Reasons Why, led by Dylan Minnette (Clay) gave 13 14 reasons why fans of the show matter to the cast, ranging from fun fan theories to the heartfelt conversations fans have been having.

"Because you're talking openly about the things depicted in the show," said Alisha Boe, who plays Jessica. "You're talking to your friends, your parents, [and] your teachers and that's really important."

Brandon Larracuente who played the ill-fated Jeff Atkins (who, frankly deserved better), expressed gratitude for the love his character has gotten. Justin Prentice thanked fans for the support he’s gotten, despite playing the *worst* character on the show, rapist Bryce Walker.

“You didn’t get mad at Clay for not listening to the tapes faster — not too mad, anyway,” Minnette said, implything that he’s seen all the memes about clay taking *forever* to listen to the tapes.

This video is not only super charming, it’s clear that the cast is reading all the feedback they’ve been getting from fans and are genuinely in awe of the support.

"You're honest and willing to be vulnerable," Ross Butler, who plays jock Zach Dempsey said. Steven Silver, who plays over-achiever Marcus Cole added, "You stand up against bullying, sexual violence, and discrimination."

We seriously can’t say it enough —we love the video so much and can’t wait for Season 2!
