Carrie Underwood prepared for the Grammys just like we would have
We love hearing how celebrities get ready for red carpet events, so we were all ears when it came to this year’s Grammy Awards. Thanks to Instagram, we learned how Carrie Underwood prepared for the Grammys, and we have to say, we’re pretty in love with her routine.
Why? Well, because it kind of reminds us of our ideal Friday night in. Underwood is rocking a face mask, and holding a large glass of wine. All in all, it’s truly our idea of luxury. (And since Underwood has flawless skin, we’re glad her go-to is something we can probably find in stores!)
Of course, Underwood looks stunning even with a face filled with mud.
That looks like our kind of night.
For the big day, Underwood utilized a smokey eye and opted for a more neutral pink lip. So, along with the benefits of the mask, she looked fab.
Wine and face mask aside, Underwood used Almay products to complete her look — which means that her Grammy-ready makeup is even more achievable. She’s been repping the brand for a few years, and often wears their products to big events.
(We’re pretty impressed by the sheer amount of makeup brushes she owns. Why not, right?)
Underwood ended up on a bunch of best-dressed lists as well.

The singer wore an Elie Madi gown in red, and truly made a statement. She did change for her performance with Keith Urban, but even her second dress was a winner.
