Carrie Underwood’s CMT “Cry Pretty” performance was a sparkly KiraKira dream

It was a huge night for Carrie Underwood at the 2018 CMT Music Awards. With 17 wins already under her belt, Underwood continued to make history by securing four nominations, ultimately taking home the award for Female Video of the Year for “The Champion,” her duet with Ludacris.

Not only did she walk the red carpet with her husband Mike Fisher in a stunning yellow mini dress, but she took the stage to give a powerful performance of “Cry Pretty,” earning her thunderous applause from the audience and making basically every viewer at home cry on their couch.

This is only Underwood’s second public performance since the accident that left her with 40 stitches on her face. So “Cry Pretty,” her first single off her upcoming album of the same name, holds a special significance to the singer and fans alike.

And thankfully, there’s video of her incredible CMT “Cry Pretty” performance.  So much glitter, so much bling, and so many insane high notes.

In what looked like a KiraKira dream come to life, Underwood emerged from a sea of Swarovski crystals in a glittery black bodysuit, powerhouse vocals in tow as she crushed every single second of her searing performance.

Of course, fans watching at home absolutely loved it, too, taking to Twitter to post their reactions to Underwood’s gorgeous performance.

Some wanted Underwood to do it all over again, and we totally agree.

While others asked the important questions.

We’re sending all our congratulations to Underwood for her massively successful night, and we’re going to go ahead and play her performance on repeat all morning long. #flawless.
