Carrie Underwood broke her wrist in a “hard fall,” and we hope she’s okay
As hard as we try to make it through life as smoothly as possible, sometimes, hiccups happen. Painful ones, unfortunately! We just heard that Carrie Underwood suffered a broken wrist after a ‘hard fall’ on a flight of stairs outside her house, and ouch.
The accident happened the evening of Friday, November 10th (just a few days after she co-hosted the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley), and luckily she was released from the hospital the same night. Her hubby Mike Fisher was apparently out of town that day, but traveled back to Nashville to be by her side (aw).
According to the Tennessean, Underwood was due to perform at the Country Rising benefit concert in Nashville on Sunday alongside Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, and other big names, but had to cancel because of her injury. Her fans were surely disappointed, but everyone understands that accidents happen — even to our favorite country music stars. We’re sending all our healing vibes, and hope that Underwood is able to make her scheduled December shows in Nashville.
As soon as the news broke, her fans and friends voiced their concern.
Sending my love and best wishes to @carrieunderwood for a speedy recovery! ❤️🎶❤️

But Underwood is a tough cookie; her five hit albums since American Idol are proof of that, and we have a feeling she isn’t letting this get her too down.
She’s since reassured everybody that she’s okay.
Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.
