Carrie Fisher has the ultimate response to her body shamers

You don’t mess with Carrie Fisher. The Princess Leia actress has seen more than her fair share of turmoil during her adventures in the Star Wars films, so when she was faced with people shaming her appearance after Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit theaters two weeks ago, she had no trouble shutting them down.

The 59-year-old star has been stealing our hearts left and right on this press tour with her hilarious banter and refreshingly real moments as well as, of course, the antics of her dog Gary. This time, however, the star took to Twitter to express her frustration with people commenting on her body in the most important and hilarious way:

We love everything about Carrie’s response to this unfair and unnecessary criticism. This kind of speculation about looks and aging doesn’t do justice to what’s really important: that Carrie Fisher is still an awesome actress and a badass human.
