Carrie Fisher is getting a comic book tribute fit for a rebel general
We’re still mourning the loss of our beloved Carrie Fisher, who sadly passed away in December 2016. But now, we’re happy to announce a new comic book tribute to our General is out, and is serves as a sweet tribute to the icon.
The comic book and graphic novel company TidalWave Productions has a Tribute comic book biography series that has honored other stars like John Lennon, Christopher Reeves, Whitney Houston, and more. Their most recent edition to the series is a tribute to Carrie Fisher, who was best known for her role as Leia Organa in Star Wars — but actually accomplished so much more in her too-short life. Honestly, we’re still crying just thinking about her.
Tribute: Carrie Fisher is a 28-page stunning comic book dedicated to the life of Carrie Fisher. Just look at this beautiful cover!

Co-writer Michael Frizell took the task of honoring Carrie very seriously.
“I don’t like to write – or think – about death. When it comes to someone as beloved as Fisher, I wanted to pay homage to what fans love about her: her sense of humor, her persistence in the face of adversity, and her spirit.
As a huge fan, this comic seems like a fitting tribute to a woman who inspired so many and did so much good for the world. Carrie even asked TidalWave to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the comic to a hospital dedicated to treating psychiatric disorders. Even after her death, Carrie is still making an impact.
TidalWave announced the comic in a beautiful Facebook post.
