When iconic mother/daughter acting icons Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds passed away in late December within a day of each other, fans in Hollywood and around the world mourned. The Golden Globes ceremony this evening made it clear how deeply these losses affected the people in Hollywood, honoring the duo in a moving tribute. The tribute featured a mixture of home videos of Fisher and Reynolds as well as some of their most iconic films.
The tribute had fans on twitter sobbing, with many tweeting about how heartbroken and moved at the fitting farewell to the two icons.
Reynold’s son and Fisher’s brother Todd, took to Twitter to thank to HFPA for honoring the duo.
