Shut the front door! Could Beyoncé and Kanye be coming to Carpool Karaoke?
As you probably know by now, James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke is the gift that keeps on giving. Whether it’s First Lady Michelle Obama, or Adele, or Justin Bieber, or One Direction, or the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, everything always ends up absolutely hysterical.
But there’s two celebs who mysteriously haven’t participated yet, and Corden is desperate to make it happen! Of course, we’re talking about Kanye West and Beyoncé, the biggest superstars maybe… ever.
Apparently, Corden has been trying to summon Kanye and Queen Bey, and it’s GOING to happen, but it just HASN’T happened yet.
Corden was hopeful when he explained the situation to GQ, “Kanye has been booked to do Carpool Karaoke now twice and both times something came up. He’ll do it eventually. He wants to do it.” Ummmm who wouldn’t want to do it?!
Apparently when he cancelled, Kanye went all-out on an apology. “[When he cancelled he sent] about three dozen white roses, of course. Arranged in the shape of a cube. What could be more Kanye than that?… ”
Moving on to Beyoncé, it seems a bit more difficult for Corden to reign her in (though we’re not losing faith). “[The dream would be] Beyoncé. It would break the internet. She’s on tour right now. We’re working on it.”
Dear James Corden… please work on this a little bit harder! Let’s just all agree, Beyoncé would be the best guest ever on Carpool Karaoke. Kanye would be great as well, but… Beyoncé is the actual queen.
Next time we hear from Corden, let’s just pray that our dreams have been answered. Because it’s karaoke! In the car! We don’t care how busy they are, Kanye and Beyoncé must, must, MUST make time in their schedules.
Priorities, guys. These things are important.
