We really, really, really like Carly Rae Jepsen’s Japanese shampoo commercial
Today in unexpected cuteness: Carly Rae Jepsen in an adorable flash mob infused shampoo commercial for a Japanese brand called Moist Diane (yes, it’s really, really called Moist Diane).
Apparently, Carly Rae is super popular in Japan (she released her album Emotions in Japan two months before anywhere else) so seeing her shilling for a company there is not too far of a stretch. In the totally adorable Moist Diane commercial, Carly Rae helps a lovelorn woman confess her feelings to her heart’s desire. The drama goes down in an airport, no less, right before said love interest boards a flight; the cute-levels are also ratcheted up by the presence of an impromptu airport flash mob. Carly Rae’s song “I Really Like You” is the soundtrack for this Moist Diane fueled love confession, and it’s all-in-all pretty adorable. (Truly, didn’t know this song could get any cuter, but thanks to this commercial it did.)
You can check out the commercial below. And of course, you can buy Moist Diane on Amazon. You know, just in case you want to try it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
