The lyrics for Cardi B’s new song “Who Wants the Smoke” are on fire (just like the weather today)
Cardi B may be nine months pregnant but that’s not stopping her from continuing to churn out hits. Since announcing her pregnancy during her Saturday Night Live appearance in early April — on the heels of the release of her debut album Invasion Of Privacy — the rapper has shown no signs of slowing down.
Fresh off her latest number one hit, “I Like It,” and a feature on Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You,” the rapper and her husband (!) Offset are featured on Lil Yachty’s newest single “Who Want the Smoke?” Produced by Tay Keith, during her verse, Cardi dismisses her haters and critics, rapping, “I hear shots comin’ on the low from hoes I’m higher than / This attention is so flatterin’ ’cause they’re admirin’ / Don’t know what’s on their mind, but it should be retirement.”
The soon-to-be mom, who became a worldwide sensation with her debut single “Bodak Yellow” last summer, raps about her rise to the top, dubbing herself “the king of New York.”

The release of the couple’s collaboration with Lil’ Yachty comes just a week after Cardi B confirmed that she and the Migos member have been married since September. Last October, Offset and Cardi revealed they were engaged — a month after the purported union. But when Offset called Cardi his “wife” at the BET Awards in late June, TMZ found their September 2017 wedding license. The pair, who are expecting a daughter together, recently celebrated her impending arrival with a “Bronx Fairytale” theme baby shower.
Seriously though, seeming to pull endless hits out of nowhere, we need to know the secret to Cardi’s unbeatable work ethic.
