Cardi B opened up about guys sliding into her DMs after her breakup with Offset—and why she’s not into it

Cardi B doesn’t want you to slide into her DMs, thank you very much. The “Money” rapper graces Harper’s BAZAAR‘s March 2019 issue, where she dished on parenthood, her career, and yes, whether she’s ever getting back with Offset (“I don’t think so,” but “who knows?”). In December of last year, the “Bodak Yellow” singer revealed that she and her husband were going their separate ways. Now, the new mom is opening up about her dating life post-split—specifically, guys sliding into her DMs.

“It’s like, ‘Bro, why would you want to holler at me right away? You’re weird,’ she told the magazine.  “If you think i'ma automatically hop onto you after a marriage, that just means you think I’m a sleaze. And I’m not. I have a kid—I have to show an example.

She later clarified her comment, saying, “I like to have sex. That doesn’t mean I have to have it with everybody. Not that I judge women who want to have sex with the world.”

We get it, Cardi, and at the end of the day, you do you. A huge part of embracing your sexuality means doing it on your own terms, and when and how it feels right for you. Cardi also opened up about how she feels different after childbirth, almost as though she’s still getting back to herself.

"For some reason, I still don’t feel like my body’s the same, she said. “I feel like I don’t have my balance right yet. When it comes to heels, I’m not as good at walking anymore. I feel like I’m holding a weight on me. I don’t know why because I’m skinnier than I’ve ever been. But there’s an energy I haven’t gotten back yet that I had before I was pregnant. It’s just the weirdest thing."

Thanks for being so real, lady. As always.
