Cardi B is giving away $1,000 an hour to fans in need amid coronavirus

Many celebrities have been using their platforms to help support those impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Cardi B is showing love for her fans by giving away $1,000 an hour for the next 42 days. It sounds too good to be true, but we promise it’s the real deal.

In a video on her Instagram page, Cardi explained that some fans have been reaching out to her, telling her their stories of financial hardship due to coronavirus. With that in mind, she partnered with Fashion Nova to send money directly to people who need it.

“Many of you are struggling to pay bills, feed your families, and take care of your overall essential needs. #FashionNovaCARES & I are giving away $1,000 EVERY HOUR until we’ve given away $1 MILLION DOLLARS to those directly affected by this crisis,” she wrote in her Instagram video caption.

For your chance to win $1,000, submit an entry form on Fashion Nova’s official page. Cardi said she will personally review all entered stories.

One note: Make your Instagram public once you submit. That’s how Cardi will reach out to you if you win.

In a press release announcing the initiative, Fashion Nova CEO Richard Saghian noted that he wanted his brand to do its part to help.

“We all feel compassion and concern for those affected by the coronavirus,” Saghian said. “Fashion Nova Cares with Cardi B will provide people with necessary relief to help them get through this crisis. As a community-driven brand, we are inspired by the kindness and generosity of others and we wanted to do our part to help those in need.”

With 24 winners a day, you just never know—Cardi and her longtime favorite brand might be sending a check your way. You can submit an entry until May 20th. And Cardi doesn’t want anyone to feel embarrassed. “Don’t be shy. Sometimes you gotta motherfucking ask for help,” she said.
