Cardi B clapped back to a troll who accused her of not writing her own songs
Gather ’round, friends, for another story of an epic Cardi B clapback. On June 6th, the rapper defended herself when a hater came at her with the claim that she doesn’t writer her own music. According to E! Online, the tweet, which has since been deleted (shocker), questioned how Cardi made the Billboard Top 100 Songwriters chart when she doesn’t writer her own lyrics. Naturally, she responded to set the record straight.
Because I do write a lot of my shit that’s the thing .Yes just like every other artist I do have a couple writer that help with hooks but I wrote plenty of songs on my album specially my mixtape .Ya just flip shit and ya want to believe the fuck shit so bad but EAT IT UP BITCH! https://t.co/sJI2q1o9zO

Cardi don’t need no press. But if you’re going to give it to her, then she’s going to do what she has to do. And if that means she’s going to drag someone on Twitter to clear her name, then so be it.

This Cardi B clapback comes just a few days after another clapback.
Last week, the rapper went on Instagram Live to set the record straight about her recent plastic surgery. Haters called her “lazy” for getting liposuction after giving birth to her daughter Kulture, and she wasn’t having it.
"I do whatever the fuck I want to do with my body," she said in an Instagram Live video. "I don't have the time of day like you do. Like, my job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no, I don’t have time to work out and I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out, is not get fixed."
Lesson learned: Leave Cardi B alone. If you’re going to give Cardi press, then praise her for the work she’s doing.
