Cardi B literally thanked her haters in her iHeartRadio acceptance speech

As if there were even a shadow of a doubt, 2018 is definitely the year of Cardi B. It’s only March, but the rapper is already having a massive year. After a meteoric rise to fame with the release of “Bodak Yellow” last summer, she’s showing no signs of slowing down. And Cardi basically owned the 2018 iHeartRadio Awards, opening the show with a medley of her hits and winning two of the five awards she was nominated for.

And like most artists, Cardi thanked her fans, friends, family, and her fiancé, Offset of Migos, for their love and support when accepting the award for Best New Artist. But unlike most artists, Cardi took time to thank her haters, too, and we’re bowing down.

After thanking her loved ones,  Cardi got hilariously real with the crowd. She said, “Oh my God! I am going to thank a lot of people because a lot of people helped me with my success so here it goes. I want to thank my publicist, my team, I want to thank Atlantic, my family. Who else? I want to thank my man. I want to thank my fans because even when I’m wrong they be like she’s still right.”

She then added, "And I want to thank my haters too. Because...they be downloading my stuff so they can hear it and talk crap about it. But it benefits me. Hahaha!" She followed it up by saying, "My album will be coming in April. Okay? Yes, sir. April. Stay tuned mother f*ckers, owwww."
